Versa battery issues

I just updated my Fitbit to enable to new tracker feature (6/20/2020), updated it maybe last night. My Fitbit Versa worked all of last night and up until roughly 11 am when I put it on the charger. It was at 30% (give or take) when I started charging it. When I took it off of the charger, the Fitbit was very warm and not wanting to turn on. No lights on the back, or vibrations or anything with the screen. 

I tried a regular reset (holding down the two buttons), for roughly 5 minutes and nothing appeared. 

I tried doing a factory reset (holding all 3 buttons), again for roughly 5 minutes, and still no logos or screen changes or lights. 

I have also tried to clean the back of the Versa, and the metal charging bit,  and put it back on the charger, but nothing changed. Can anyone help me?

Hi @silvermistrocks, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear about the charging and battery issues that your Fitbit Versa experienced. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via chat. I'm glad to hear that a solution was provided and you are back on track with a replacement unit.
