Has anyone else experienced this issue: the battery is charged almost fully, let's say between 80-100%, and then suddenly you notice the watch has turned itself off and shows 0% when trying to reboot it.
This has happened a few times to me over the last few weeks now and it's starting to become annoying. This does not seem to be not a case of battery drain, I don't notice any drops in % it just suddenly switches off. When this doesn't happen the device easily lasts 4 days, with the exact same usage. So I cannot tell what is causing this.
Looking for some input before I contact support about this.

It will go according to UK Law - it's as simple as that (and if necessary.....I'll fight all the way).
FitBit want the watch to be returned to fiddle with before they return it to me....that's an unnecessary inconvenience on a product which isn't fit for purpose (in fact it's a dangerous product with the heat that's being produced from the battery). It's also a product which is less than 6 months old (in fact the current faulty one is now just 3 days old!)
There's no question of whether I get the refund or not....

Aaaaand Amazon are taking it back for a full refund 🙂
They're also looking into temporarily suspending the Versa on their UK site for safety reasons
That's a result in my book 🙂

My versa is about 9 months old and dying too. I may have to return it to Costco for a replacement. It charges 100% but the next morning dead again.

I am also experiencing this problem. I haven’t done anything different with the fit bit and I’m going to contact customer support as well.

i had the same behavior for about 2 weeks, and then it would no longer charge at all. Support could not fix this, and I am 2 months outside my warranty, so no replacement!

Hi, how long you have been using it before it was replaced?

The same thing is happening to mine. Very frustrating as they aren't cheap. Mine charges okay within an hour it has dropped to 78% by say lunch time 0%. I took it into a jeweller and they can't change the battery. It seems ridiculous nothing can be done especially something simple as changing a battery. So now I'm stuck with a fitbit I can't wear

The exact same thing is happening to me! Very very frustrating. And no way to put a new battery in. I don't think I'll buy another one as this is the second versa I've bought.

I charged my Versa to 100% yesterday. Battery, however, completely drained out last night.

Isnt it frustrating! I love my fitbit too. It seems to be happening to alot of people. Should be able to at least change the battery. My jeweller said there's is nothing they can do. I look after it and never rough. I don't think I'll purchase another fit bit as this is the second versa I've owned and the sale thing has happened. Too expensive to keep replacing them.

Tonight, I have joined the Versa Lite battery died club. I had my battery charged to 99% in the late morning. Twelve hours later my battery is dead. My fitbit isn't very old. Naturally, I purchased mine shortly before the first commercials for the Versa 2 came out. I did recently have a update on the watch.
Has anyone gotten a fix yet?

My Versa suddenly has died. In 3 days it went from working perfectly to wouldn’t stay charged more than 9 hours to completely inoperable. It isn’t even a year old. Please do not insult me by suggesting I charge it incorrectly! Seems that is the standard response from support. How should I troubleshoot? The watch will not turn on.

My new Versa was functioning well until after about 6 months... hopefully it’s not a false alarm that it works only because u got a new one.. wait 6 months and see.

My Fitbit Versa 2 suddenly died today while I was in the gym. I put it on the charger when I got home but it won’t charge. The charger is fine I checked it. The Versa 2 wont turn on or anything. What can I do? Where can I have it looked at?
