Versa blank screen

Versa won't turn on. Screen still black. I have changed the clock face. Tried holding back button and bottom button to force restart. An I cannot seem to contact support. HELP

Hi there @Cassandra2020, thanks for stopping by and for the details provided in your post. I appreciate you've taken the time to troubleshoot your Versa's screen prior to posting here. 

As per the description of your post it seems that the battery on your watch may not be charging properly and therefore does not turn on. I recommend that you follow these steps (or please confirm that you've followed them as described below):

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Once you've tried and checked the above steps, I suggest you to charge your Versa at least 1 hour to see if the screen turns on. I currently have Versa on the charger to try again. But my fitbit app shows charged, the Versa is just not turning on. The green light on back is still working

Hello, my Versa is having the same problem. Yesterday it died and I got home and put it on the charger the screen won’t light up or show anything. I have followed all the steps you listed and have switched outlets, boxes And cords but still nothing. I reached out for help yesterday but the guy wasn’t very helpful.

Okay so Versa is fully charged and still nothing. Just a black screen. The green light indicator is still flashing. But nothing else is working.

Hello there @Cassandra2020 and @HaleyMcC, thanks for getting back and for the details provided in your posts. Since your Versa is still vibrating and flashing the green lights on the back, it may also be syncing as per your responses, so please try the following:

  1. Switch to a Fitbit clock face if you're using a third party clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device? 
  2. Please confirm if you've restarted your device by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

I have already changed the clock face several times. And also have tried a restart. But I cannot click into settings on Versa because screen is black

Hello, my Versa screen is still black and not charging. I feel that it’s warm after sitting in the charger for a while but no lights sounds or vibrations.
