My Versa 2 was bought when they first came out and hasn’t had a problem until now. The screen is blank until I press the button on the side, then it shows the symbol for the timer and then goes blank again. I first thought it needed charging, but when plugged into the charger it shows 100% then goes blank. No amount of screen tapping or waving my wrist, or watch, around changes the blank screen. It was last synced on 5th February.

Hi @HazelM - there are/have been Fitbit server issues starting Feb 6th, this may be related. But try long press the button to get to Quick Settings and make sure Sleep [and Do not disturb] is not enabled and enable wrist wake.
While there is a server problem you may not be able to sync. Try logout/login of the Fitbit App to get a new connection and if fixed it should work again.
