Good day to all,
I got my Fitbit Versa last week and didn't think about what might happen once I get back to Europe in a month and a half. I've been living here for 2 years and bought my phone here too, so it dodn't even occur to me. Will it work properly and the same? Or will I encounter any issues? Will the warranty work if I'm not in the USA?
Does anybody have experience on this topic?
Thank you so much!

I don't know about the warranty but as long as you keep your receipt and it has been bought through Fitbit, it should work globally. I have travelled with mine through countries and the only difference is it changes your system language to the language of your current country if you have your region set to automatic in the app settings. Otherwise should work fine. Hope that helps!

@MaiB It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Just like @taijitu said there shouldn't be any restriction when using your Versa abroad. You can also use your Fitbit pay (if your US purchased Versa has NFC chip available only for the Special Edition) but remember that you should contact your bank to see if they have any sort of security restrictions or fees. Regarding the warranty the US warranty would apply to your Versa so remember that there is a difference as European Economic Area purchases have 2 years of warranty against the standard 1 year for the rest of the world including the US.
Let me know how it goes and hope you enjoy your trip!

@AlvaroFitbit Thank you for youe reply.
I still do not understand what will happen with my warranty. In the US is 1 year, does that mean that I will have 1 year warranty in Europe? Or will it be extended to 2 years? Or it won't be accepted at all? I'll be living in Europe flr at least 4 years, so I woul like to know what can I do if I ever have any issue while I'm there.

@MaiB sorry for the delay. In your case the US warranty should apply and should still be valid when in Europe so you have 1 year coverage on your device.
Keep me posted!
