The back button on my Versa has not been working properly for a while now. Today my Fitbit put itself on the timer mode and now the button doesn't work at all and I cannot get out of it.

Hi there, @MaxineBarbara. Welcome to the Community Forums.
Please try to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air, just hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button. Then, please try restarting your Versa by following these steps.
Hope that helps.

I have cleaned out the button but it is still not working. I am not able to reset my Fitbit like suggested as the button that is not working is needed to reset it
