The other day, my Fitbit versa would not respond when I pressed the left button. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @Cardo084 - the watch may be showing signs of some fault beginning.
First try a standard restart. How do I restart my Fitbit device?
If this doesn't work and you feel the click when pressing the button, go to watch Settings, About menu and do a Shutdown. Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.
However there is a risk if the watch doesn't restart when charging after a few minutes you may not be able to restart it with the button.
If that happens try removing from the charger and start charging again. After several attempts it may wake.
If there is no click when pressing the button try cleaning around the button.

Hi there, @Cardo084. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa.
please confirm that you've tried to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air, just hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button.
Then, please try restarting your Versa by following these steps or try the second restart method provided by @Guy_.

I tried all of the suggestions from the help section in the Fitbit app. HOWEVER, that’s not working today either! My Versa 2 stopped working yesterday morning. Versa 2 wasn’t responding to touch. And today, the app doesn’t work. Hopefully they’ll get everything up and running. It’s too bad they didn’t notify everyone of this widespread outage.

Hi Guy_, This is a widespread issue with Versa not responding to touch and this morning. People, including myself, are reporting problems with the Fitbit app, we are unable to open it.

Good Morning MarreFitbit,
I am having the same issue. Yesterday I started having issues with touching the screen and it not responding. When I got on the forum, I noticed other people started having that same issue. And this morning my button doesn’t work at all, and the Fitbit app is not working. A lot of people are complaining about the touch screen and the left button not working on the versa, and this morning, the app is not working. Just thought you might want to know. Thanks for any help you may give us.

@Dareceptionist- the touch screen issue on the watch may be a completely different issue to the current App problems which don't help when you are trying to resolve it.
