Versa can't be set up

Hi, so I've been using Versa for more than 1.5 years. Around February I used another watch, thus sometimes make me forget to charge my Versa. So today when I try to charge and sync it to my phone (Oneplus 6, Android 10) it won't sync.

Then I remove my device intending to set it as new. But it won't allow me to set up a new device.

I already follow the steps that posted here and the official website, none seems working.

Things that I've already done:

1. Restart my phone

2. Update the fitbit app to the latest version

3. Restart the Versa

4. Restart Bluetooth connection on my phone.

It always stuck on the inputting the 4 numbers. After I input the 4 numbers that displayed on the watch, the fitbit app won't go through and show the "Not Working?" display, and giving the 3 tips that I've already done.

Can someone help me please?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Horchatime, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it can't be set up. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Try the setup process as described in this help article and see if it connects with your phone properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
