I have driven my motorhome for the last 4 days. It registered over 10k steps everyday and that I had even did 88 floors one day and 86 floors on another day! Not bad for sitting driving a motorhome! Definitely something wrong with the algorithm.

Best Answer@Callander Unfortunately as Versa is a wrist tracker it will register bike rides. There's no way around it for now. You can try changing Wrist Placement settings in your Fitbit mobile app to Dominant and that should shave off a few steps, but the main issue remains. I would suggest manually logging Driving activity for that time period in the Fitbit mobile app to remove the ghost steps. Alternatively, you can use the Drivebit app.

Best Answer@Callander I would give it a try nevertheless. Alternatively, you can try the app @Rich_Laue has mentioned. 😄
App sometimes count steps when I'm driving, sometimes not, I also use the Versa app. I think it depends on the roads, if the road is hilly then the app can consider it as if I was going up the floors. Often I also go on an off-road trip, after which I have to use the rv detailing that my friends do me at a discount. I used to use a different app, I don't remember which one, it worked even worse. And my friends advised me the app which works exactly when you're driving. This turned out to be very convenient for me as I often travel. If you are using a more accurate application, you can advise me it.
Best AnswerBasically, depending on how smooth the road is, bumps, and the cars suspension a person may or may not find steps counted during a ride.
