Versa charging issues

Hello,

just purchased my new Fitbit versa2 yesterday and it’s been charging for around 8 hours now and still sitting on half a battery. Is this normal?

how long are you suppose to charge when you first get it?

 

Also to add it’s definitely charging as the battery is going up and down showing its charging! Any help would be great.

@Katie__fitness, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with the charging issues that your Fitbit Versa is experiencing.

 

A complete charge takes within 2-3 hours. Since your watch is taking longer, I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your Versa again for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
