Can you manage to do a Factory Reset with the three button method. Press and hold all three buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo appearing and only release then the right lower button. Keep pressing and holding the left and right upper buttons untill you feel a strong vibration. This means that the FR is initiated and after a while the Fitbit logo will show, your Versa starts up. After that, if you succeeded, you need to do the setup procedure to your phone all over again as the Versa is basically a new device after a FR. See also this post about the Factory Reset. Good luck!!

Well, now it's time to contact Customer Support, whilst mentioning specifically that you already tried to do a FR with no luck at all.

Fingers crossed that they can fix the problem, they don’t seem to be quick at replying

If you contact them by email, the time to get a response is 24-48 hours. You can also try to chat with one of them: click the "Troubleshooting" tile on their Support site and scroll all the way down untill you see on the bottom of the screen a tile saying "Let's talk".
