Versa connected GPS not connecting to iPhone 11

When I select an excercise on my Versa watch - such as walking, running, or biking, it shows it's 'connecting.....' but then it never connects. So if I am bike riding, I don't get the distance, only the time.  It used to work, then about 3 weeks ago stopped working.  Anyone know how to fix this?
