Versa cracked screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Bought my husband a Versa, I love my charge and my Alta...however, the screen got cracked while he was sleeping somehow...not very durable for fitness tracker..and not to be confused with an apple watch since thats for more than fitness. Is there no where, ifix, for example, that can repair the screen? Less than 30 days old! $200!!! Waste and yes, nothing but " sorry, its not covered under warranty". I was a loyal fit bit customer until this.

@Skling Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Sorry to hear about your husband's damaged Versa. The best thing you can do is letting our Support team know about the issue so they can assist by reviewing the case and warranty. It seems that you already contacted them but you could ask them to review the ticket as you said you don't know how this happened but do take into consideration that the warranty doesn't cover damaged caused by external factors. If you purchased this somewhere else (like Amazon or Best Buy) you could reach out to them to see if they have options too.

Let me know how it goes!

Best buy does not cover or return after 14 days. It was less than 30 days
he had it that this had happened. No rough wearing, etc. Your support
clearly told me it was not covered...what else do they need to review? If
there is a fix or replacement, I'd be happy to call back. After reading the
forum, it seems there a lot of consumers in agreement...these screens are
not worthy of an "active" watch...please advise.

@Skling sorry for the delay in my response. The warranty doesn't cover damaged done by external factors so this may have influenced their decision. You can reach out to them again and explain if this wasn't caused by an accident and see how they resolve this but they are the ones who make these decisions.

Keep me posted!

The problem is this. Fitbit does not have ANY resolution for their new
Versa screen problem. Seems I'm not the only one either. For a fitness
tracker, the screen should NOT be this sensitive.
I have owned 3, my son bought his own, so I believed in the product. I
can't even get a fix to the problem. And less than 30 days old!!!
