Versa cutting out during exercise

Can anyone help? For the last few weeks my Versa cuts out (as in totally switches itself off) during exercise. Anything up to 2 miles it is ok, but after that it cuts out without warning which is very annoying. When I restart the device there is always battery life left on it so it’s not as though the battery life is running out. I have tried all the usual steps, charging fully before use, restarting the device etc

Though ironically today I did almost 3 miles without it cutting out but I was checking it every few steps!
