Two weeks ago I was having issues with receiving notifications on my Fitbit so I went through the proper steps to fix it, which led me to having to update the software. The notifications worked for a few days then stopped. Everything else worked fine though. Sunday night I went through the steps again, which led me to turning my Fitbit off. Now ir won't turn back on!!!! I let it sit on the charger all night, nothing. Went through all the troubleshooting steps, nothing. Fitbit essentially said oh well, here's 25% off a new one because it's out of warrant. It's less than 2 years old!! There are MULTIPLE comments on here of people having the same exact issue. SHAME on Fitbit for their poor customer service. Your recent update has caused DOZENS of devices to stop working and you should be responsible for fixing the problem.

Hi @Jess.s , besides the fact that you Versa is more than one year old and thus out of warranty, you're entirely right. This new update ruined a lot of Versa's and, whilst I'm a Fitbit fan from the first hour, this is to blame entirely to Fitbit and I totally do not agree how they handle it. I have a Versa 2 with no problems at all, even on an unsupported tablet. It will not help you, but this is my honest opinion, regards kuzibri.

Yes! Same thing happened to me.
Called customer service and was able to get it working. Then happened again 2 weeks later. Called them again. And its dead. No Warrenty left. Out of luck.
So I upgraded to the versa2. Fingers crossed this one lasts!
