I noticed the other day that my Versa was dead in 36 hours out of the blue. It had been the normal 5 days and then one night it was dead and I didn't even know it had a low battery. And then 36hrs later I woke up to it dead again. I charged the battery when I woke up and decided to keep an eye on it the rest of the day. I thought I had updated the other day and wondered if this was causing the problem as I know some updates are not great. I did check and saw that there was an update available. Decided to run the update as so many times this solves problems. This only made things worse! After the update the watch face was slow and almost unresponsive. It was also doing things on its own. It would scroll to other areas of the watch on its own and then go through those pages, all without me touching it. I did do a forced restart last nigh with no help.
Then this morning I tried to check the time and the watch face did not light up. So I assumed that it had died not me again in a matter of hours. So I held down the L button to try and get the dead battery symbol and got nothing. Tried to hold left and bottom right to turn back on, nothing. Held all three buttons and nothing. Put on the charger, nothing. I did notice that it was still vibrating from time to time and when I made a phone call it vibrated like it normally does when the call connects. So I just have a blank watch face.
I read through some other threads and have seen that there have been issues with the latest update. But before I give up on the watch I want to make sure that there is nothing more that I can do. And since I am not able to get through to Fitbit support decided to try here.
