I got a Versa last year for Christmas. It worked fine for a couple months, then the heart rate monitor started being way off all the time. It was constantly around 150-200, would say I burned 6,000+ calories a day, and had hundreds of active minutes when I’d been sitting in school all day. Then the screen stopped working sometimes (would just glow black and not show anything or have lines when turned on). Now the screen never works, and it’s having issues syncing and being able to be found by my phone.
I’ve tried several things - resetting the Versa multiple times, deleting and re-downloading the app, restarting my phone, everything I can think of. At most, it’ll fix the heart rate issue for about 10 minutes before everything goes back to how it was.

@MadisonToler, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry about the screen, data tracking and syncing issues that your Versa is experiencing. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
Please let me know if your Versa vibrates and turns on wen putting it on the charger. If so, please try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit. After this, check out if the display turns on.
If the display turns on, try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Finally, monitor your watch and see if the issues get fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

There's nothing you can do about a faulty heart rate monitor. In this case your best bet is to get in contact with fitbit support and get a replacement. It might take a while but I've always been extremely happy with the end result from fitbit support.

When the screen first stopped working, it used to turn on when put on the charger and I tried a couple resets. Now it doesn't turn on ever. I'm not too worried now, since I'm getting a Versa 2 for Christmas now.
