Versa display dead...

I have a Versa display that simply shut down with little to no warning...  It is just over a year old so Fitbit sent me a 25% off offer...  Really can we expect these product to only last a year?  I am not usually a complainer, but this is disappointing to me because I have put it out there it so many people that they should buy this over the Apple Watch...

@RTR17 it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry about the difficulties you had with your previous Fitbit Versa. I totally understand how you feel and I appreciate your feedback.

Fitbit devices are designed to last for years. However, if you see something unusual with your replacement unit, please don't hesitate to get back and I'll be happy to assist you accordingly.

I'll be around if you have additional questions! Smiley Happy

Interesting, my son's watch just did the exact same thing and we got the same 25% off offer.  Was also told "it should last for years" and was asked if the agent "had made me smile today".  Rather annoying.

As a Fit Bit user and supporter for multiple products I would have to say that at this time I don't believe that it is in my best interest to have to purchase a new Fitbit watch every 14 months...  I do not have plans to purchase a replacement at this time.  I will be researching other options  .  I would like something that last more than a year.

it seems the many people are having the same issue.  Fitbit should step up and offer something better than a 25% discount.  I have helped sell many of these for them and will no longer support the brand.

We can only send a message that will be heard by any company with our wallets.  Fitbit should step up and admit that many are having this same issue and offer more than a 25% discount.  we have options of what to purchase.

Oh no! Sounds exactly like what happened to mine - also a month outside of the warranty. It’s my third fitbit product but likely my last of that’s what they’re offering customers for a product that should last far longer than 13 months.
