It seems after the recent update my Versa display lights up automatically, all the time! I have quick view turned off and display set to be activated by pushing the button and not by movement. I have turned off/reset the device. It's draining the battery and it's annoying and wakes me up at night! Anyone find another fix!!! Please help!

i had the same issue with mine for 3 days after an unvoluntary update. after day two i restarted my versa lite and i thought it stopped till the next morning so i changed the watch face, again the next morning was dead again so i uninstalled and reainstalled app. yet again except now my screen is black. i went into app and changed clock to an authorized fit bit face 3 times and only got the vibrate but still no screen? help me i love my watch!

@kmhasson, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the display turns on even when the "Quick View" feature is off. I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps you mentioned above.
Please try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Changing the face display did solve the problem. Would be nice if more Fitbit faces were available.

I also appreciate your feedback in regards having more clock faces available. I'd like you to submit this request in our Feature Suggestions board and people can vote for it. The more votes your request gets, the more chances it will have to be reviewed by our engineering team.

also reporting that im now seeing alot of faces in app with gray faces instead of animation?? woundering if theres a bug? hum???

1. unvoluntary update or me runing it under water to wash for the first time in 3 years of having my versa lite rusults in Versa display light constantly on ( as if Quick View feature is on) so i shut it off but its still doing it so i,
2. restart watch. after a night it needs to be recharded again ( i typically only need to charge about twice a week). so i,
3.change the watch face to a authorized fitbit face. now some of my watch faces in the app are showing up grey instead of animations? is this a bug? or is the fit bit app under construction? next morning again a dead watch so i charge but this time my watch face is black but when i change the face in app it vibrates but never lights up nore does it light up when charging tho it says its connceted and charged in app? so i,

5. try turning my watch on and off again but i cannot tell if its already on or not. now its not syncing or tracking?
my last fit bit did something very similar when i finnally showered with it on ( last month on its warranty) how i got this one. did i ruin it by washing it right beneath the water or was it the update? ugg.
i dont think ill be replacing these expensive watches. limited uses, constatnt updates that eventually make the device obsolete to the apps, inconsistant sync, cant actually shower with it on. $50 maybe but 1-300 absolutly not. is nothing made to last anymore? nope. this is the world we have created. lie,cheat,steal, andd waist our way to the top. shame on us. are we the most advanced? we got a long way to go before we earn this earth.....loooooooooooong way!

adding that it now vibrates when i add it to the charger but no light on the hr sensor that i previously did have last night:( i do not see condensation on the 4 sensors as i did with my previous fit bit hr monitor.
