Versa display not working properly

My versa appears to be charging and syncing and tracking data but the screen only comes up far a second before fading away. Sometimes my display appears at the very top as an oval. Sometimes I get colored vertical lines in the screen too. I tried a shutdown and restart with no luck. Any idea how to fix this?
