Versa doesn't charge

Have had my versa 8 months last couple of days battery life lasted less than 24 hours after being fully charged. Turned off all notifications etc.. that might be draining battery. Now it won't charge at all.

Welcome aboard @BeckyMck. I'll be happy to assist you with your Versa battery inquiry. Thank you for letting us know that you have turned the notifications off and that it won't charge at all. 

 

To charge your Versa again:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your device. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • If your device’s battery was depleted to 0%, and it doesn’t appear to be charging leave your device plugged in to the charging cable for at least 30 minutes.

Done all of the above buying a new charger today to see if that might be the problem.

Bought new charger been charging  over an hour. Nothing. Watch is hot to touch which is something new.
