Versa doesn't restart

I tried to charge my Versa last Sunday because the battery was low. But it didn't charge anymore
I cleaned the device, and tried to restart my fitbit versa. But when I press the buttons the fitbit logo does not appear on the screen. 
 
I also tried to charge it with a fitbit versa charger from a friend. But this didn't work either. 
I can feel that the device is getting hot when it is on the charger for a long time, but it does not turn on. 
 
What can I do next?

@Linsch It should not get hot. Please do not plug it for charging. I'm flagging your post for Customer Support assistance.

Thanks for trying those steps you did a great job there, but in this case I think that it's best if you follow up directly with our team since your Fitbit Versa is not responding.  I've noticed that you already have a case open with us, shortly you should receive an email from customer support at the email you used to register with the Community Forums.
