I’ve had my Fitbit Versa for a couple of weeks and really enjoying it, however it’s draining the battery on my iPhone 7. I’m up to date with all updates for my phone and Fitbit app but it’s killing it! I want the watch to show my texts and calls, and ideally when out for walks I want it to map my walk, but how can I have this without it draining my battery. Please help???

@Evansl I'm afraid you can't? I mean Fitbit app is a battery hog. You can try disabling all day sync and see how it goes.

If you don't want to use the weather application, you can turn off its location and internet permissions, that'll help a little. Then the app will only use your location when you tell it to map your walk. Disabling all-day sync helps a bit too.

Thank you I have turned off my weather app now thanks.
Will it not track my walk automatically when I select ‘walk’? I like it giving me a map at the end of my walk.

@Evansl the connected GPS j
Is turned only when you manually start the exercise on your Versa. Autotracking will not generate the map. Btw, is your Fitbit syncing without issues? If there are syncing issues that could contribute to battery loss. Also, all-day sync, and excessive notifications. They would impact battery of both Versa and iPhone.
