Versa dropped my steps after syncing

I had clocked at least 14,000 steps today so far, including a 5k run, however when I went to sync my Versa to my mobile (iPhone 6) the steps had dropped down to 239 and it had no record of my run. The last I checked my Versa, after my run and before a walk, the steps were at around 11,500. I have not manually logged any exercise, and have tried restarting my watch, but no luck. Any ideas on how I can restore my data?

Hello there @maevefeore, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about your steps being dropped after syncing your Versa and for taking the time to try fixing the inconvenience prior to posting here.

While reading your post I was wondering when was the last time you sync your Versa prior to yesterday's synchronization? If you had not synced your watch days before, what happened to you yesterday is an expected behavior. You should have logged in to sync the tracker before you began wearing it.

If you remember the exact amount of steps or the name of the activity you performed, you can try manually logging the activity. To get more information about this, check the article: Can I add an activity manually to my Fitbit account?

Additionally, it'd be great to take a look at: How do Fitbit devices sync their data? to get more information about how your Versa syncs.
