Versa exercise tracking issue after update

My versa had plenty of problems b4 this last firmware update, but they were annoyances.  This update has made my watch next to useless.

1) the autowake feature works maybe 1 out of 20 times...

2) exercise, end exercise, interactions at all?  I need to enter my presses quickly before the display turns off in the middle.

These all appear to be related as best i can tell to the movement sensor, unless mine broke on the same day as the firmware update i performed and that probability is next to nil.

My old garmin worked like a champ, and still works after i gave it to a family member after i "upgraded" to this disaster.

How, on relatively stock hardware, can a firmware upgrade go this far off the rails is beyond me but this is my exit rant.  Firmware upgrades that screw up watches in so many different ways, and the solution is to offer a discount for another watch i would probably swear at, and based off thevforums, have the same problem? Can somebody explain that?

I will check back in for snicks, but what a waste of time and $.

Going through all the debugging steps, then offering 35% off another watch is not "constant communication".  My watch is broke due to a firmware upgrade, and 0 feedback what why or any note about a solution.  I wanted 3 years for a $175 watch, i got just over 2...and thats before customizing my band, etc.

Regardless, im not the only one, and i do wonder if this was meant to cause issues on older watches to force a new purchase, or... youve got too many diff suppliers in your chain where little diffs prevent a single workable firmware upgrade, or... just incompetence...

Let me know if an fixpack ever comes out so i can unload this watch for a few bucks; after 3 weeks of hell, ive bought a different brand.
