Versa face came off

The glass face of the watch came off in the pool. The wires were still connected to the back of the watch, but there was no stopping water getting inside my watch. This watch has been working fine and I was just thinking the other day...I think it is going to make it one year! Can't believe I spent so much on a watch that breaks once a year. My first one the HR monitor stopped working and now this. Seriously considering just going back to the old school digital waterproof watch. Has anyone else had this happen to their watch? Is fitbit responsive? I'll follow up on this string and let everyone know how it goes.

Hello!

I received my Versa 2 for Christmas 2019. The face detached September 3, 2020. I noticed some technical issues in the last month as well: device turning off and on on own, complete shut down with more than 40% battery power and now the face just popped off. Is there a way I can fix this or should  I send it in for repair?  Please advise. I feel naked without it!
