Versa face fell off

So I went to sleep as usual wearing my versa 3 and I woke up to check the time, only to find the face dangling off. The screen is black, so it’s unusable now. Sucks because the watch isn’t even two years old, but I don’t have an extended warranty. Noticed other posts and pictures with an IDENTICAL issue, so it clearly seems like a known defect. Can you even do anything about this? I really liked the product, but I may have to switch to another company in the future.

Same thing happen to mine and I was gifted mine a little over a year ago. Did they help with resolving the issue?

Nope…nothing at all. I’ll probably switch to an Apple Watch. Everyone I know seems to like them a lot better. I mean every picture of the face falling off looks the same, so that’s pretty weak for them to ship products with known defects. Not sure what their QC is like. 🤷🏽‍:male_sign:
If I hear back from them for a possible resolution, I’ll let you know.

This Occurs TOO MANY TIMES, fitbit people!  I've had TWO of the Versa 3s where the face fell off... Fitbit said they were out of warranty and offered a discount!

Why can't they INSERT the face place plate under the frame? Instead of STICKING the face plate as CLEARLY that glue is not working... Clearly the company neither stands by its product or has any pride in their products, even though they are the original innovator in this space... and after being bought out by Google they have more cash than GOD!

Wish I could have paid them with Disappearing money, so that the money would be credited back to me when their support fails.... I'm sure they won't post this note on this forum.

Got exactly the same response from Fitbit, certainly will not be purchasing another they seem to be unconcerned about customer satisfaction. This has been an ongoing problem for about three years by the looks of other forums

hi

This is not about customer sat... its a product liability issue that they choose to ignore....

Plus, they got our data!!  They know thats the stickiness... you buy another (good, working) tracker, you're going to lose all the history 😞  😡
