For 2 hours this afternoon the watch switched itself off even though it had been charged and was at 100%. Tried charging it but this made no difference. Also tried restarting it and tried cleaning the charging points - still was dead.
After trying a combination of these things a few times, the watch eventually started again but was very dim (it was dim last night too).
Any suggestions? This is very frustrating!

My watch was fine last night. I put it on to charge after swimming, woke up put it on and the screen was on but it was blank. I tried restarting it now it won’t turn on at all. Earlier this morning it was vibrating while it was on the charger now it isn’t. I don’t know what to do.

I have a Versa and if I turn it off to reset it, it will not turn back on. The last time it happened I had to wait until it was completely dead and then charge it to get it to power back on.

My Versa suddenly, out of nowhere, went dark. I thought I needed to charge it (but didn't receive the normal notification that it was low). Charged it fully...it seemed normal and the second I took it off the charger, it went dark again. I can see my personalized clock face and get it to move to the "today" stats on the charger, but nothing off the charger. I've tried different chargers, different outlets, and resetting it (but the Fitbit icon never comes up from the reset). Any other suggestions? Customer Service said I just need to buy a new one. This one isn't even 18 months old. Thanks, guys!!

@lizzy thanks for your reply. I have gone through all the steps you suggested but it has not made any difference. The Versa just dies but as soon as I put in in the charger, it wakes up and the battery says it is at 100%.
This is very frustrating as I am unable to use it and I really do like my Versa! - can you advise on what the next steps should be?

I think similar has happened to mine. Two days ago I went to bed with it at about 30% but when I got up it was blank and dead. Wouldn't charge, wouldn't do anything. Today it suddenly says 0 on it so I've put it to charge agian and it finally seems to be charging. Why would it do this?

@goatgirlpieface, thanks for joining this thread sharing your experience with the watch. This isn't the behavior that we expect but I'm glad that it was able to charge correctly. I'd recommend to keep an eye on your watch and if this happens again, don't hesitate to reply back.
