I went on an almost 8 mile walk Saturday, Fitbit says I had a total of 3013 steps. 13.1 mile walk yesterday. Looked at my watch during the afternoon, it said over 30,000. Looked later and it says 7000 for the day.
I've searched the forums for answers, and nothing's working. I've tried resetting the watch (holding in left button with bottom right to restart), logged out of the app and logged back in, nothing is working. I didn't manually enter this workout into the watch. Just lost a lot of steps.
Really close to switch to Apple watch after having a Fitbit for years. 10 years, I think.

Hi @SaraOSU, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa is losing steps. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
I'd you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data.
Finally, monitor your watch and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
