Versa is not syncing

This is my 3rd Fitbit all of which have had nothing but issues with! This is my 2nd Versa. The 1st one went black never worked again. This one will not sync or stay synced, the data is always incorrect!  The app says I've walked 20k while in bed sleeping without the watch on, yet the watch was turned off on my bedside table all night, I turned on the watch and it says 0 steps but then the screen flashed watch vibrated said 10k again steps walked shows 0 steps- sometimes it will say it can't sync other times it says its synce yet nothing? Nothing matching from the app to the watch. I have restarted, removed and added the device as far as to  factory reset it- still nothing! I do not have Twitter- so idk what else to do- I am regretting buying another Fitbit watch for it still to have so many issues! My phone was working with everything just fine 6 months ago when all these problems started- I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+
