Versa is not tracking steps accurately

My Fitbit Versa isn't registering my steps and I have restart it a couple times now. It says I took 177 steps all day today and 84 yesterday even though I ran 4 miles. I've messed.with the stride length but no luck.

Hi @ToniCaroline, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not tracking your steps accurately. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data.

 

After this, check out this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device tracks your steps walked. Finally, monitor your Versa during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
