My new Versa randomly vibrates. No messages, or calls are coming in. Also not set to vibrate to remind me to move.

No nothing has worked resets, uninstall, reinstall app.. went through ALL of the settings and notifications settings, changed clock face NOTHING WORKS! This is a replacement also for the **ahem** that dies when it was only  months old! Wish they had a Money back option. I would buy a samsung!

That hasn't help. Restarted it several times. I've also let the batter drain and still my Fitbit versa will randomly vibrate and will also restart by itself.

Hi Fitbit Support,

I am having the same same issue with my Fitbit Versa. It started two weeks ago after I wore it for a swim. I have tried resetting it multiple times with no luck. It has been so much random vibration so I can no longer wear it to sleep as it wakes me up. I have been a loyal Fitbit user since 2011, but this experience is making me close to switching things up. Any help is greatly appreciated

I've tried restarting my fitbit several times and am still having problems with this. I have also tried going into the watch face setting as well as changing to different ones with no luck. I am pretty fed up with fitbit at this point. I haven't even had mine for a year yet and it should not be randomly vibrating for no reason. It drives me crazy! I'm ready to move on from fitbit and never look back.

I have discovered that it is phone related. When my phone is off I do not experience the random vibrations.  I believe it is a reminder for SOMETHING I just havent figured out WHAT SOMETHING. Fitbit is NO help. And after the last update everything went to **ahem** quick. I still cant get phone numbers and caller ID to my fitbit. Text is still sketchy sometimes. I should have gotten a samsung instead. And with no GPS in the fitbit ANY motion racks up steps!. But on the other hand if it is linked to the achievement app you can get more points faster just by rocking  in your recliner watching TV. Lol

Mine randomly vibrates even when my phone is off and I'm fed up with it. I've tried everything to fix it. I'm looking into getting the samsung active watch instead. I've officially taken my Fitbit off and will not be using it anymore.

Thank you! I recently changed my clock face and all of a sudden kept randomly vibrating. Your post helped me to fix the problem.

My Fitbit versa never had issues but I have nothing but issues with Fitbit versa 2, maybe should go back to my 10 year old Garmin that has never had issues, and waterproof.

My Fitbit Alta hr is doing this again. There are no buttons to reset on this model. I fixed it last time by uninstalling and reinstalling. It also no longer notifies me when the battery is running low. Only about 5 months old.

Mine recently started doing the same thing.  I notice when it vibrates, my heart rate disappears.  Very odd and the only thing I had done was change the band.

I have the same issue. Randomly vibrating and no notification. When I look at the watch, my heart rate is missing. I’ve had the watch 2 weeks. It also is randomly restarting on its own. Good times

Im having the same issue. It keeps going to fitbit wallet. It started after I washed dishes last night yet has never done this before. I have restarted it twice now. Why is it going this? I love my versa yet this seems like a giant issue to me

Dont know. Sorry I cant help you. I hate my versa. Worse trackeri mean WATCH I have ever had. Only thing like about it is the reminder alarm. Mine vibrates all the time. They replaced mine because for some reason it just DIED. Started rebooting and the screen went black. Solution was to replace it or 50% off of a new one. If I hate it WHY would I want another. My boyfriends has started rebooting all the time as well. He has tried everything from manual reboot to factory reset, uninstalling the app and reinstalling.  Still doing it. It is goingbto die.  Mine tracks steps while I an sitting in recliner if i am rocking!  Lmao. $180.00 watch! Next one is a samsung.

I believe this has to do with WiFi connection being lost. There is not setting that I could find that turns off vibration for disconnected WiFi. Since I don’t have many apps that need WiFi I disconnected the WiFi Altogether and stopped getting these vibrations.

I tried switching the clock face which fixed my Versa random vibrate issue for about 2 days. Thought it was fixed but then vibrate issue returned and eventually stopped responding to steps, heartbeat, lost connection to the app. Maybe the face switch will work for some. My Versa also started having issues after getting it wet for a few minutes, maybe the two are related but who knows, I've only had it for 10 months. Before that it was pretty awesome.

I have just received a replacement Versa Light and I have the same issue (random vibration, not tracking sleep, etc).
I can’t believe that this issue has been around since 2018!

I tried the various suggestions and nothing changed!

Any new suggestions?
