Versa is stuck

My Versa is stuck on "Data not cleared, sync and try again". I have tried everything, and nothing works. Help!

Have you tried a factory reset using the buttons? Give it a go a few times.

 

FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

Thanks for information, although it didn't work. It would coverage and the logo would come up, but it would go back to"data not cleared, sync and try again". Think I need to return it for another one.

Versa still stuck.  Thanks for the information, but my versa is still stuck. Followed directions, would viberate, logo would come up, but then it would go back to "data not cleared, sync and try again. Very frustrating.

Thanks for the tip but it also did not work on mine. And I bought my versa 2 months ago so I am not sure if I can return it and get another one. *sad face *.

I purchased the Fitbit 5 months ago, but battery life was down to 8 hours. I followed reset instructions. I even re- downloaded start up instructions. It worked for ten minutes and then totally died. Nothing. I tried recharging AGAIN and nothing. Totally dead. What next?

 I purchased my Fitbit five months ago, but the battery life recently reduced to eight hours. So I reset it. I even re-downloaded the start up as per instructions. It worked for 10 minutes  and and then it totally died. I tried to recharge it, but nothing. Please help.

Hello emma,

 

  im having problem with my Alta Hr, display doest work, I tried to restart tru charger cable, but failed, how to perform factory reset on Alta hr. badly need your help..Thanks in advance

@Abbystevens  I had the same issue and then I did the factory set and not NOTHING.  I am so sad I can't get it replaced or fixed due to out of warranty. Best of luck to you I hope that you can get yours replaced.

What 3 buttons? My Versa only has 1 button that I push to display the time. Nothing is showing on the face of the watch. Nothing shows when I move my wrist around. This is all very frustrating! I am not even sure how long I have had my watch but think less then a year.
