Versa isn't receiving notifications

I am unable to get notifications on my Versa, I use Redmi 4 phone. It shows the following message on my phone's Fitbit app, "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker". I tried rebooting my phone a few times but it shows the same message every time.

try downgrading fitbit app. 

2.73 and lower works fine on all my Xiaomi's phones.

Thanks for your reply. But how do I download a previous version? My phone is using Version 2.78 right now.

I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this issue. Keep in mind that in order to have a successful connection between your watch and phone, it needs to be a compatible mobile device.

When a phone isn't compatible, it doesn't mean that it won't work with your Fitbit but you might experience some connectivity issues. You can always try the instructions provide in the help article My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone but I don't guarantee it will work 100%.
