Versa keeps disconnecting

Bluetooth/Versa keeps randomly disconnecting. No rhyme or reason as far as I can tell, I just look at my settings and see that it has disconnected. It's a pain to have to keep resetting it.

I have the exact same issues. So annoying. I constantly have to check and it's not connected for recieving messages, calls and notifications again. I'm considering looking for a different smartwatch. It's absolutely insane that I bought this thing so that it would notify me of certain things and yet I can't rely on it cuz it's constantly disconnected.

My Versa 3 disconnects from Bluetooth if I walk away and leave my phone in another room. I understand Bluetooth connectivity only extends 30 feet, but having to re-pair is *not* the same. I have many Bluetooth devices and none lose the pairing when I’m >30 feet away. I asked this in another thread and was told it was “an Apple problem,” but none of my other connected devices have this issue. Is anything being done to solve this?

I just gave up wearing mine. Good thing it was a free one. I wouldn't pay
for something like this.

I have a Versa 3 and used the Shut Down feature to turn it off and turn it back on, and so far,’it has solved the problem. 👍🏼

I’m having the same issue with my new Versa 3; I never had this issue with my Ionic.  If I open the Fitbit app on my phone, the Versa reconnects with it.  But that doesn’t last.  And, I don’t have other Bluetooth devices running.

I have also had these issues with my Versa and Samsung Galaxy. It will pair then when I check again, it doesn't show as paired. I don't receive notifications and emails, so then I have to spend time trying to get it connected again. This has been an issue for awhile but it is much worse since the last update. I have noticed a huge decline in the way Fitbit works with my phone in the past year. After this one dies, it's my 4th Fitbit, I am going to Samsung smart watch.

Hello - I am having the same issue, my Versa is regularly disconnecting from my iPhone Bluetooth.  I have updated my iPhone, Versa and Fitbit app all to the latest versions. I have also tried all the fixes posted in this chain - rebooting both phone and watch. Deleting from Bluetooth and re connection. None of it seems to address the problem long term. Just began to happen about a month ago, prior to that is worked perfectly. Could it be an updated Fitbit software issue that is causing the issue?

I have done everything mentioned and still having issues.  I have a S21 FE.  It started disconnecting about 2 months ago and is getting very frustrating.  I have always loved FITBIT.  Might have to switch to a Galaxy if this issue continues.

This thread is years old and yet, it's still an issue.  I went to one of the Chinese watched early this year and syncing and connectivity was not an issue. The watches (2) were horrible at counting steps but good at syncing and sleep measurements.  However, the watch broke after only two months.  So, for now, I am back with Fitbit. And still dealing with poor syncing and inaccurate sleep measurements.  This is how I deal with the disconnection issue and its crazy. I have both an iPhone and an iPad.  If one wont sync, I go to the other and it seems to get jealous and it often times syncs.  Of course, the secondary one gets into a little hissy fit for a bit, but it does sync.
