Versa keeps loosing time

Hi

I have a Fitbit Versa and it won't keep the time. 3 times yesterday I looked at my watch and the time was wrong. As soon as you open the Fitbit app on my phone (Moto g6 play) it syncs and corrects the problem.

I have checked the time zone and that's all correct. (From a previous post)

I am nervous about doing a factory reset as some have said this has broken the watch.

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it?

Hi @SunsetRunner

So I restarted it and it came back on now problem. However.....during the night it switched itself off so I turned it back on. At 9am-ish it turned it's self off again but I didn't realise until some time later so I turned it back on using the left button and the bottom right hand button but this time it took several attempts to turn on, eventually it came on but as soon as the screen went black that was it. Off again.

So I put it in the charger and it registered 0% on the batt. I left it charging all afternoon. When I came back to at 5pm it still wouldn't turn on. Eventually I managed to get the screen to come on by unplugging/plugging the charger back in so I did a factory reset. It went off while reinstalling now I can't get it to turn on again.

Any ideas??

Hi @Bex_chiz . Try going into Account from your Fitbit app. Change to All Day Sync. That may help.

Hi @SunsetRunner

I already checked and it is set to all day sync. I'm gonna give the reboot a go (re: your comment in another thread) see if that sorts it out.

Thanks for your help

Please note to anyone reading this. I've had no solution to the problem. I clicked the accepted solution by accident and now I can't undo it .

I couldn’t fix mine i had to send it back and get a replacement. This one seems fine. Think there’s a dodgy batch out there
