Versa lite keeps randomly restarting

My versa lite has all of a sudden started randomly restarting. I am not catching the back button at all and it will restart at random times.

I've tried a factory reset and resyncing to my app but it is still happening . It's about 2 and a half years old

Hi @Deadringer2 - after the factory reset did you reinstall the same clock face you were using? If so try a different clock face in case it has developed a fault.

If you are suddenly having to charge more often then it could be a sign of internal watch damage, possibly from water getting in.

If it's not too severe try drying it in rice for a few days.

No I downloaded a different one and it stayed the same and kept restarting the battery stays the same abd it hasn't gotten wet

@Deadringer2- if the restart happens frequently, try the following options

• Switch to a Fitbit clock face
• Restart the phone.
• Try turning off the phone Bluetooth and do a Shutdown from the watch Settings, About menu. Wait at least 10 seconds before restarting the watch to see if it stops the watch restarting while the Bluetooth remains off.

If the latter works, logout of the Fitbit App, clear the storage cache and force stop, swipe off the  Fitbit App window. Restart the app with Bluetooth on.

What can happen is the App is trying to load a clock or app and failing. for this see also Why won't my Fitbit device sync? in case it is a syncing issue.
