I'm a newbie. Got a Versa Lite yesterday,  today was my first day using. I have a desk job, moving mostly back & forth in my chair, moving arms Etc. Suddenly after about 3 hours, I have racked up over 2,000 steps, not even walking. Imput please

Hi @ginaclu , the Versa monitors your steps by actually walking and moving your feet but also when moving your arms in forward- and backward way, just you do when you're walking. Happens to me also once and a while while gardening using tools needing to "imitate" the walking pattern of your arms. Hope this helps, although 2000 steps in 3 hours when behind your desk seems rather "overestimated". Regards kuzibri

@ginaclu   Most of us wear our watches on our non-dominant wrist.  If this is true for you, then go to your Versa Lite settings on your phone app and switch the setting to Dominant.  This changes the sensitivity of the tracker.  It should reduce, but it won't eliminate these extra steps.
