My fitbit was working fine until recently it keeps losing Bluetooth connection with my iPhone. I've tried everything. It'll connect but disconnect like half an hour later. Don't know what to do

Hello @saylow, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps already. Would it be possible for you to let me know exactly which steps have you tried? That will be very helpful for me to check this further.

In the meantime, to make your Versa and your phone maintain a constant Bluetooth communication, I would like to suggest you to enable "All-day Sync" in the Fitbit app by going to Account > Versa and scrolling down until you find "All-day Sync"

I hope this can be helpful, I'll be waiting for your reply.

My BRAND NEW Versa is doing the same thing. I have tried every fix recommended. my only recourse is to return and exchange it. please tell me there are some Versa's out there that do not have this problem. I really like the watch

Bonne chance

I have the same issue but I won’t say “constantly” but it happens and I have to re-pair it every three weeks or so. Should I send it in for service?

I am so done with Versa. Mine also loses Bluetooth regularly. When I check the app it says "Looking...". I have to keep restarting the watch in order for it to connect. This one is going back and I'm going back to Garmin. Maybe Fitbit should not be in such a hurry to release new products that they do not bother to get the bugs out before the launch?

I am having this problem since this latest update on a daily basis. I am finding turning off "all day sync" one or two times and trying "sync now" is sometimes all it takes to get my Bluetooth to reconnect. If that does not work, restarting my Versa does the trick with the off/on of all day sync as above.

I would love this issue to resolve itself soon.  I find the above less frustrating than deleting and adding the Versa which takes so long sometimes.

I have had my Versa 2 for only a day and am already experiencing this problem. Connectivity is lost more frequently than I care to mention.

I cannot believe that, in this day and age, a premium product can experience such a major fault which cannot be overcome without shutting down the app or any of the other recommended solutions on this forum.

Come on Fitbit, if the likes of Alexa can maintain connection across multiple devices in a building, surely you have it within your technological ability to get your device to maintain connection with a phone less than a metre away from it?????

Please do not post suggestions, such as "update your device" or select "all day sync", don't you think that we out here haven't already tried this???

My rating for Fitbit, due to this major failing is just 1* and I will not currently recommend this product to anybody else.

Keep getting told to put all day sync on,  well I always have all day sync on but my versa still loses connection every few days, wot can I do to stop it losing connection, don’t say all day sync coz mine is always on

I delete the Fitbit app and then download it straight after, it syncs straight away.  Although the versa should not be losing connection in the first place, surely Fitbit know about the problem but don’t mention it to people paying good money for a Fitbit with a problem

I am literally having this same problem. I have had a Versa 2 for a week and have had this problem since the first day and it’s so annoying and surprising.
