Versa lost steps

The last 2 mornings I’ve managed to go out for a run (yay me!), and when I check I’m up to around 7k steps after. I mooch around the house, doing stuff, keeping mobile and get up to around 8k. When I check my steps again on my Versa I’m done to 6k! Yesterday I thought I’d made a mistake, but when it happened again today I realized it’s not me. I checked my run on the app  (iPhone 7) it said my run was 6300 steps of 6230 taken today! Any ideas? Versa running 70.27.7 (Recently ran update) and charged.

Hi @carlaBag, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not registering or recording the full amount of steps walked. By the way, thank you for letting us know the firmware version that your watch is running.

 

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains how your Fitbit device count your steps taken. Finally, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if it records and syncs the correct amount of steps.
