I’ve seen posts on here regarding the issue. Purchased my Versa on June 23 and not even 2 months old. I swam twice with it on in pools no deeper than 6 feet. Its supposed to be “water resistant” up 50m (150 ft). I shower with it on as well to clean it out because it says you can. Water resistant vs. water proof?!? How can something be water resistance up to 150 ft (a normal person doesn’t swim that deep) but can get water logged in a shower, shallow pool, or heavy perspiration?!?
Can an someone PLEASE explain this? I like my Fitbit. It really pushes me to work hard and go that extra mile or two but it’s not durable...

Waterproof watches typically use rubber seals to keep the insides air tight. Sometimes new watches have defective seals and the watches need to be replaced. Some defective seals don't become a problem until you use your watch at high altitudes. The internal air expands like a sealed bag of potatoe chips and a defective seal will break. This can even happen to analog watches. Most watches have good seals and will not allow moisure in.
