Versa no lock screen

Arrrr so so fed up off my versa not recording my activity's it's ridiculous makes the whole point off a activty tracker pointless why is their not a lock screen and will one be available anytime soon please or I might I as well return the thing it's a birthday gift too

I don't really understand the issue, but I can tell you there will not be a lock screen. I assume to keep the screen on. That would kill the battery in short order.
