Versa not able to be found or sync

Hi. For over a week, I have not been able to get my iPhone XS to find or sync with my Versa (new July 2019). Suddenly the time started to drop behind on the watch, then it would not sync. I have deleted and updated to the new app, as late as today. I’ve checked all the troubleshooting tips, turned phone, Bluetooth, watch off and on again, checked wifi, ensured settings are correct etc. I can get my phone to find my Versa maybe once per day and sync briefly but it just reverts back soon after. 

My son’s Samsung phone also cannot find my Versa but finds his Charge 3 fine. My phone can also find his Charge 3 and my daughter’s Ace. My older son has the identical phone and Versa as me and has no problems. 

I’ve been repeatedly emailing support for over a week and they do not seem able to read my emails as many of the replies are nonsense and they have completely ignored what I have told them. They have suggested that it’s an iPhone update issue which has affected FitBit settings and that it’s a known issue but I know many people with my phone and watch who have no issues. 

And besides, my phone can find other FitBit watches, just not my own. And my son’s Samsung phone cannot find my Versa. 

 

I would love to find out what is actually going on and whether it can be sorted or not. I’ve spent nearly $1000 on FitBit watches in the last year and getting the runaround is starting to wear thin.
