Versa not auto-recognizing activities.

I just got upgraded to the versa from the charge hr. My versa is not auto recognizing exercise. For instance, I just went for a walk, it logged 44 mins of active minutes but it did not log as having done exercise with all the calorie burn stats. My charge hr automatically logged this info.

I'm having similar issues with my Versa2. It is not auto-recognizing my bicycle on pavement (wich me being an Amsterdammer is what I do every day) and so it is not logged. Before I had the fitbit charge2 wich worked fine.

Please fitbit tell us how you are going to fix this.

Did you end up returning it? I am still using my old charge 2, I haven't decided if I want to invest in another yet or not.

Haven’t yet. Waiting on a reply from someone from Fitbit.

I have recently purchased the versa 2.. This is the exact problem i am having. New to a fitbit and thought i was doing something wrong.. But i noticed at first there were days missing , then noticed it logged my 20 dog walk, but not my 3 mile hike. They've had we restart it and then check..it didn't help they want me to do a factory reset, but see that hasn't in the past helped anyone.  Yesterday if failed again to auto recognized my 3 mile walk. 😕

The versa2 is not giving me these problems anymore. I’m not sure if it was the updates or that the device ‘learned’ after a while, but I have to say that it is quite accurate in recognizing my movements and exercises for a good while now.

You said anymore. Do you mean it was and improved on it's own? or did you have to do something to it to fix the problem?

Yeah, it improved on it’s own. I haven’t really done anything except keep on wearing it, maybe it ‘learned’ from my movements I don’t know.

I just got the versa 3 and am having this issue, didn’t log my active minutes either (which is now called zone minutes). Serious regret right now buying this

I have the Versa 3 and in the beginning it used to be great at recognizing my aerobic workouts versus other activities (walk, bike etc) and tracking them all. But over the summer and now in the fall, it’s doing this less and less. I did a 22 min workout during which it told me my HR went up to 140 but there was no log of it afterwards. Only the most recent examples. It only logs my walks now…
