My Versa was working just fine, and then last week it would only collect basic info (excluding deep/REM), and now it hasn't calculated any sleep at all since 6/29. I restarted my Versa (left button and bottom right button) multiple times, but that has not helped.

Have you tried the factory reset? I know that stinks to hear, but might be necessary.
I noticed that my Versa occasionally doesn't start tracking until I've been sleeping for a while. This is very rare and doesn't usually happen two days in a row.
Check that your phone is syncing by attempting to manually sync it. My mom's doesn't sync all the time and she was asking me why. It turns out she has her set to a scheduled sync. I told her to manually sync if she doesn't want to wait.
If the watch is showing a heart rate, then it should know when you're sleeping, so there must be something interfering. Especially if it's still tracking exercise without issue.

Mine have stopped working since about the last week of June, coinciding with new app update, I think?
Before, it tracked my sleep beautifully. Now, I’m the app, it seems I must tell it to track my sleep. I am really ticked about it, because I never remember to go in and tell the app I’m about to sleep.

Thank you for your response. I did what you said and it eventually worked (I had to do it a couple of times). After working for a day or two, it stopped again and hasn't tracked my heart rate or sleep for the past 2 months. Disappointing because I'm unable to monitor workouts or sleep now, which was the reason I selected the versa.
