Hi,
I followed your advice and when I check on my Versa in the settings it still says Wifi not connected. On the app it shows a blue tick next to the Wifi. So what can I do that my Versa is connected as well?

For anyone else who happens to come across this thread, I discovered that not only does the wifi network need to be 2.4 GHz and utilize WPA2 personal (as opposed to enterprise), but the encryption method must also be set to TKIP instead of AES. Fitbit had to have bought the **ahem**tiest wifi chips in existence.

Thank you for the TKIP info. "AC" networks are on the way out, and "N" networks are almost in the realm of token ring networks. AES is the only way to go for encryption. Fitbit needs to get with the times!

I had the same issues my self. I have Spectrum internet, and was using their modem and router. while using both their devices with my fitbit versa 2. no matter what it wouldn't connect even if i had my watch next to the router. a couple of days ago I bought a Mesh router for our house- specifically a wyze mesh router 2 pack (only because we have multiple devices connected to the internet and we have kids and this gave us parental control over every device connected to the internet) well once the router's were connected and each device in the wyze app was given a proper name. I made a last ditch effort to connect my watch to the internet. here is what I discovered: 1) the watch will only connect to 2.4 GHz wifi. 2) my watch instantly connected to the internet I did have one small problem it wouldn't stay connected, but after connecting it 3 times it has successfully stayed connected to the internet now. I believe everyone biggest issue is the router devices themselves.
in you're fitbit app you click on your profile picture at the top left corner of the app and then scroll down to your fitbit device, scroll all the way down to wifi and follow the steps to connect, you have to make sure that your connected to the 2.4 Ghz network or it won't work (if you have a router that has both and doesn't have separate networks for your 2.4 & 5. Ghz you won't be able to connect successfully)
once you have established your connecting to the right network, make sure you type in your case sensitive password and wait)
once it's connected ( you will know because your fitbit will vibrate)
you should be good to go) if you get disconnected go back to the wifi and start over again if your correct network already shows up click it and look at the bottom it may have a button "connect" just click it.
Good luck

the issue maybe more with your router or your network. if you have a modem that uses both 2.4 & 5 Ghz and uses the same name for both networks then the Fitbit will not connect.
