Versa not counting steps

My versa stopped  counting  steps. Everything  works

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. If your Fitbit Versa is not counting steps as it should, please try the following steps to restart your device and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. For Fitbit Versa, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

I did this. It didn't work for me. I also did a factory reset. Any other suggestions?

I also have followed steps to reset my Versa 2 device, performed a factory reset & reconnected as a new device with no leads as to why the steps counter stopped working.
