Versa not getting WhatsApp notifications

ANSWERED
Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since five or six days ago my versa stopped receiving only WhatsApp notifications.  All other notifications successfully arrive to my Versa.

I have checked notification authorizations by app in the phone, in the Fitbit App specifically and even choosing WhatsApp as default messaging app.  Nothing works until today so I'm asking for your help.  Do someone have the same issue or maybe have already solved it and wish to comment...

By the way, my phone is a Samsung S8

Thanks in advance for your support.

Hi, try this: go to notifications - go to app notifications and press it - scroll down untill you find Whatsapp and enable it. Restart your Versa and see if it works again. Regards kuzibri

Thank you so much for your recommendation.  I already did it before and again after you said it but it doesn't work at all.  It seems it's a matter about the last update and have not been solved by Fitbit.

Again, thank you so much...

Hi JuanJo, I wish to say thank you for your support.  Unfortunately nothing has worked, I have already did every single step mentioned in the link you suggested and additionally, I uninstalled the App and installed it again...  Now, not only WhatsApp but no notifications at all.

Do you think Fitbit is working to solve this issue, I have been reading a lot of messages asking for the same.

JuanJo:

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain the team is already working on the issue to solve it.  I hope they can do it soon because it's uncomfortable to have to change your customs once you have developed them.

I will be looking for your news or the official news once the solution has been started to be shared with us.  In that moment I will also check the issue as solved,

Thanks again,

Milton

@MiltonG Uninstall and reinstall fitbit app with a reboot of your phone and the tracker in-between. Grant access to fitbit app when prompted. Set up all the notifications again.

Hi JuanJo!  Been at the Discussion Board has been very illustrative:

1.- It's astonishing that we still are waiting for a solution and

2.- Something that has to be very important to Fitbit... the ones who are leaving Fitbit …. those will never come back

Things to think about, do you agree?

I received the notification of an available new tracker software update.  I immediately installed it and notifications are back!  Congratulations to the Fitbit team for such a good work, it has been a long wait but finally we have versa on track again.
