Versa not getting notifications

I received this fiybit as a Christmas gift and I’ve had a few problems

-not getting notifications

-sleep won’t track

-watch shows information from days ago instead of present information

for the problem with notifications, I have the device set to all day sync and all notification setting on the Fitbit app, my phone’s settings app and the notification stings on the Fitbit itself are all on and I have do not disturb off but I’m still not receiving the notifications I get on my phone, through my fit bit. Bluetooth is in and it says the devices are connected. I’ve tried re-setting both devices and it only seems to work for a couple of hours.

for the sleep tracking issue I keeep the Fitbit tight (but not too tight) on my wrist and high up on my wrist, but it just won’t track. It only ever tracked the night that I got the Fitbit. When I check the watch it shows that it’s keeping my heart rate but it still won’t track my sleep

a couple of days ago I logged 52 total ounces of water throughout the day but ever since that day my fit bit only shows 52 ounces of water.

  Should I send it back?

@EllaRamsayy Sorry to hear that your Versa has been misbehaving. Also, thank you for describing all the troubleshooting steps you took! 🙂 Can you please:

  • provide me with your phone model and OS?
  • also, what's your Versa firmware version (go to Settings on your Versa, scroll down to About and check the version there) and your Fitbit mobile app version?
  • when was the last sync (open fitbit mobile app, tap on Versa icon, scroll down to Sync)
  • long press the left button to access quick menu on your Versa. Toggle the Notifications ON/OFF with a quick reboot of the tracker in-between. Press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes to reboot the device
  • tap on settings on your Versa, scroll down to Notifications and make sure the notifications are ON there, especially for Locked Device if your device is locked.
