My Christmas present Versa does not log floors (or steps for that matter) as well as my old Charge HR. (Been up our stairs 3 times today, it only logged one.) It will at least update in a minutes time, instead if 20, so it has that going for it.
And compared to the Charge HR, it takes a long time to see my data on this watch. Shouldn't it just scroll over and show it?
With all the new bells and whistles, it's important to keep first things first guys. I've reset it numerous times. It seems to kind if help, but within days it again quits tracking properly. 😞

@ashes2ashes Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't tracking your floors and steps. Your device uses it's altimeter to detect variance in altitude. It will count 1 floor for every 10 ft it detects you climbed. There are situations that may affect the floor count like stormy weather (that has an actual impact on atmospheric pressure), gusts of wind, an AC unit in a close room or opening a door. I suggest you start by cleaning the back of the device with cotton and rubbing alcohol then use compressed air at a distance to clear the altimeter's opening. Finally restart it. The restart should also help with the step count. Your Versa will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may move but you won't be actually walking and vice versa. This may happen when you are playing the drums, burping a baby or clapping and the opposite can happen when you push a cart. It can also happen when driving. For added sensitivity you can try wearing your device on your dominant hand but select that hand as non dominant on the device’s settings to make it more sensitive to movement.
